Samsung Galaxy Nexus Ready to Come This Year From Verizon

Verizon Wireless will start selling Samsung Galaxy Nexus Smartphone this year. The company hasn’t still declared a fixed release date and price. I would like to tell you that Samsung and Google launched Galaxy Nexus on October 18th in Hong Kong. The new Galaxy Nexus is a high-end LTE Smartphone. It has got a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED screen with 1280 by 720 resolution, a 1.2GHx processor, a 1750 mAh of battery, dual cameras and of-course; Ice Cream Sandwich. Though Samsung and Google both promised a release in November, still the carrier partner hasn’t provided a clear release date. There should be no surprise in knowing this that Verizon is the first U.S. carrier to get this smartphone. After all, they passed on selling a version of Galaxy SII, which has sold around 10 million units worldwide.

Guess what? The most amazing thing about this smartphone is….. Ice Cream Sandwich. Ice Cream Sandwich has got a number of new software perks. For example — the holographic user interface and software navigation from Android “Honeycomb” tablet software.

Galaxy Nexus has also got Face Unlock, a face detection application that allows users to lock and unlock their phones by using their faces just like as passwords and Android Beam, which allows users to share Web pages, applications and YouTube videos with friends by tapping ICS phones together. The latter app is powered by NFC (Near Field Communication) technology which is becoming more and more popular day-by-day.
