Well, Samsung has planned to hold an event next week in San Diego. The star of the show is rumored to be Nexus Prime and Google may also use this event to launch it’s latest version of Android — Ice Cream Sandwich.
This information comes out from official Android Developer’s Youtube channel, where they uploaded and then pulled down ”Android ICS launch” event video that’ll go live in 4 days and 19 hours. So the date seems to be October 11th.
Samsung may use this event to reveal Nexus Prime — which may be the first Ice Cream Sandwich phone in the world. Samsung has posted a teaser that includes the words “Something big is coming”–perhaps an indication of the phone’s screen size.
Ice Cream Sandwich is Google’s first attempt to create a single unified OS that’s appropriate for both — a smartphone and a tablet computer.
