Yup, according to a new report from a Japanese site Macotakara, Apple may launch its upcoming iPhone in 5 countries simultaneously. Now will it be iPhone 5, iPhone 4S or both of them will be launched; this question is still unanswered.
The report is created on the basis of earlier comments from France Telecom CEO Stéphane Richard regarding an October 15th launch for the device on that carrier and reports of Apple retail store employee vacation blackouts for October 14th and 15th. But it seems to me that the site has its own independent information regarding an October 14th launch.
Apple is holding the iPhone Media Event on October 4th at it’s Cupertino Campus to reveal the new iPhone. And October 14th launch date fits very well with the event date as their is a 10 days gap between the announcement and launching. And its also the usual difference that Apple carries on in the each new launch.
I want to tell you that Macotakara has an hit-or-miss scorecard for Apple predictions. So we can just wait for the October 4th Media Event to get an in-depth information about the launch.
