The one thing for which Samsung is especially known for is that its aluminum laptops, particularly the Series 9 andQX411-W01, are both tough-as-nails and amazingly beautiful. Today company launched two more Aluminium Laptops. Under the brand name Series 7 and are known as Samsung Series 7 Aluminium Laptops. one of them is 13-inch and the other one is 15-inch.

The secret that company uses in making Samsung Series 7 Aluminium Laptops is this that the hardened aluminum that the company uses, which is as durable and sleek as that found on the MacBook Pros. That’s why Samsung uses this type of aluminium for making its laptops. Especially, when making a Macbook Pro rival.

The 13-inch version is actually a 14-inches laptop. Yups, Samsung has squeezed in a 14-inch widescreen into a 13-inch frame, leaving as little bezel around the screen as possible. This version has a higher resolution–1,600-by-900 and is matted to withstand glare.

On the other hand, the 15-inch version has a 15.6-inch screen. The resolution of this laptop is equal to the 13-inch version and this is also matted to withstand glare.

Both these laptops offer HDMI and two USB 3.0 ports. On the right hand side of these laptops, there’s a slot-loading DVD burner, similar to the ones found in the Macbook Pros. I especially liked the way they’ve used backlights to enlighten the areas that have darkness.

The Series 7 13-inch laptop is configured with a dual core Core i5, up to 8GB of memory, and switching graphics technology using an AMD Radeon 6450M discrete graphics chip. On the other hand, the 15-inch one will be the thinnest quad core laptop (measuring 23mm thick), according to Samsung, equipped with an Intel Core i7-2675M (2.2GHz) processor, up to 8GB of memory, and switching graphics technology using an AMD Radeon 6490M.

Both these laptops have non-removable batteries. The 13-inch version comes with a 65WH Lithium Polymer one that promises up to seven hours of battery life, while the 80WH battery in the 15-inch version is also claiming up to seven hours.
