Very soon all Facebook addicts will be able to feed their Facebook addiction without any break. Because the HTC Status, aka “the Facebook Phone” is going to hit the Best Buy Stores on July 17. The New HTC Status ‘Facebook Phone’ will be available for $49.99 with a two-year contract.

The pre-orders are being accepted from now. The HTC Status ( known overseas as the “ChaCha”) is an Android 2.3.3-based smartphone. The main feature of this smartphone is that it has a Facebook logo button at the bottom of the keypad. One can press this button to immediately post words, images and URLs to his/her Facebook Wall.

Their is a 5 Megapixel Rear-Facing Camera on the device. Their ia a front facing camera also which you can use for Facebook’s New Skype based Video Chatting. There is a lot of Facebook Integration in the device. Whenever a friend calls you, you can see their latest status updates.

In HTC Status, Facebook chat and email messages are pushed out alongside your regular email and text messages for helping you in catching them easily. The HTC Status also features a Chat Widget which shows who’s online. Just tap their name to initiate a chat.

AT&T says that HTC Status is the first HTC device in U.S. that comes with an enhanced version of HTC Sense UI. The HTC Status comes in four colors- black, silver, pink, and blue. But the best buy offers an exclusive mauve color.
