From a longer time, the reporters and media companies are arguing among themselves about what to call the new iPhone they’re expecting from Apple to introduce in September. Some are calling it “iPhone 5″ while some are calling it ”iPhone 4S” as Apple launched iPhone 3GS after the iPhone 3G.
It is also clear that if it will be iPhone 5, then it will run iOS 5 and will be majorly different from the iPhone 4 and if it will be iPhone 4S then it will be just a sped-up iPhone with minor changes. But now an analyst is reporting that Apple is building two iPhones for September. One will be the iPhone 5 while the other will be iPhone 4S.
Deutsche Bank’s Chris Whitmore said in a note issued on Monday, “With Nokia and RIM struggling, the time is right for Apple to aggressively penetrate the mid range smart-phone market (i.e. $300-500 category) to dramatically expand its [total addressable market] and market share.”
According to Whitmore, the unlocked iPhone 4S will cost around $349. And it will come with a pre-paid voice plan. Because especially in Africa, Asia and Latin America, where iPhone penetration is low; customers prefer pre-paid voice plans. So many Apple lovers from these countries asked Apple for introducing a low cost pre-paid iPhone. And Apple is well known for caring its customers. So we can hope that the iPhone 4S will complete this desire of Apple lovers.
So now we can just wait till September to see what Apple does. Gadget Media is keeping an eye on each and every news related to this topic. So for further details, keep visiting Gadget Media!
