A new social widget is now available to Gmail users named ‘People Widget’. As we know , mailing is just as much about the people you communicate with as it is what you communicate about. So to make it easier and to view relevant information in context , google has rolled out  its new People widget.

The people widget collects contents from friends, family and colleagues that is already available to you in your conversations but may be difficult to find . This widget makes it easier to find and helps to connect with them in an easier way.

People widget also makes it easy to start a group chat and scheduling a meeting with the people you are e-mailing. This widget will appear on the right-hand corner of your screens when you are viewing an e-mail conversation . This feature will be given to all its user over the next week . Users could have a quick access to their contact’s latest emails conversations, shared documents, relevant Buzz posts, and Calendar events which will help you in communicating easily with your family, friends and colleagues . It will be showing you your contact’s photo, title, and place of work, the People Widget ought to have some small business appeal .
