On Tuesday, Apple Inc. Confirmed that they are going to launch their Cloud Service iCloud and Steve Jobs will deliver the further details. Company said that CEO Jobs and other executives will discuss a new service for storing and retrieving media online, called iCloud, at WWDC 2011 which will start from Monday.

According to Mr. Richard Doherty, Envisioneering Group Analyst, “For iCloud, Apple Inc. is preparing a huge data center in North Carolina. This may be the most powerful data center ever, outside of government. It will be able to handle millions of streams per minute without any network hiccups.”

We know that not so longer ago, Google and Amazon launched their music services that let users upload songs they own to servers. But both these services; Google Google Music Beta and Amazon Cloud Drive don’t work with iPhone. So we can say that the iCloud service is Apple’s reply to Google and Amazon. An it will surely work with iPhone.

Doherty said, “iCloud will take your iTunes music collection and make it accessible from anywhere. It’s another reason for consumers to stay with iTunes.”

So now when Apple has chosen to announce iCloud on WWDC, then we should not expect the launch of a new iPhone at WWDC event. Munster thinks that the launch of a new iPhone is being delayed till September which may be because of parts shortages.

Apple Inc. also said that it may show off an update to its computer and mobile operating systems, Lion and iOS 5.
