Well, Jailbreaking the iOS 4.3.1 is not a very hard task because the iPhone Dev Team has launched ultrasn0w for doing it. But the iPhone Dev Team hasn’t released a proper tool for jailbreaking iOS 4.3.2 yet. So jailbreakers are advised to stay away from iOS 4.3.2. But if you’ve mistakenly upgraded our iOS firmware version, then you can still downgrade i to 4.3.1 for jailbreaking.

If you want to downgrade your iOS 4.3.2 to iOS 4.3.1 for any of your devices such as iPhone, iPad and iPod, then this post is especially for you. Following the instructions given below you can jailbreak your Apple Device easily.

Requirements:

  • Latest version of iTunes
  • iOS Firmware for your iDevice
  • TinyUmbrella

Step by step guide:

  1. Open TinyUmbrella and close immediately. This step will modify your hosts file automatically.
  2. Now Launch TinyUmbrella again and connect your Apple device.
  3. Now Click the Start button TSS Server. After doing this, iTunes will close automatically.
  4. NowOpen iTunes and click Restore + Windows Shift or Restore + Option key on your Mac.
  5. Now this is the time to select the firmware version you want to downgrade. Select your desired version i.e. iOS 4.3.1 or lower for iPhone 4 etc.
  6. Now its time to take a little break. Because the restore process will take about 10-15 minutes to complete. And remember that don’t close the TinyUmbrella.
  7. Now after the restoration process completes, go to TinyUmbrella and press Stop TSS Server.

After the completion of restore process, if you face an error message like 1011, 1013 or 1015; just ignore them (actually the firmware is already installed in this case.) To exit the recovery mode, just go to TinyUmbrella and press “kick device out of recovery mode” button. Now wait until your device restarts. If it doesn’t, then put it in DFU Mode and restore once again. Below are the steps to put your device in DFU Mode:

  • Connect your device to the computer.
  • Turn the device Off.
  • Hold power and home buttons together for 10 seconds ( remember exactly 10 seconds)
  • Release power but keep holding home until the computers beeps ( symbol of identifying an USB Device)
  • After few seconds, iTunes will detect your device.
  • If there is a Restore Logo is present on the screen, then you are in Recovery Mode, not in DFU, you need to follow the process once again.

If all things go right, then you’ll be able to downgrade your iOS 4.3.2 o your desired firmware version. Enjoy the moment and keep visiting Gadget Media.
