Dev-Team just released version 0.9.6 rc9 of Redsn0w which allows us to jailbreak iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G, iPad 1 & Black Apple TV 2. But unfortunately, there is still no chance for iPad 2 users.

So here I am providing you steps on how you can Jailbreak your iPad with Redsn0w. First of all take a look at requirements-

1. iPad WiFi or iPad WiFi + 3G
2. Latest version of iTunes (you can download it from here)

3. iOS 4.3 (you can download it from here), or iOS 4.3.1 (you can download it from here)

4. Redsn0w 0.9.6 rc9.

Step 1- First of all create a folder on your Desktop and name it as “Gadget Media.” Now place all required files you downloaded earlier in it.

Step 2- Launch RedSn0w and select the file. ipsw firmware 4.3 or 4.3.1 by clicking the browse button. After that the program will identify the firmware and will start a quick process. Remember that it requires an internet connection.

Step 3- Select  Install Cydia and then click on Next.

Step 4- Now turn off your iPad but make sure that it is still connected to USB port. If you satisfy this term then click on Next. Next step is to put your iPad in DFU mode.

Step 5- To put your iPad in DFU mode, follow the on-screen instructions. Just hold the Power button for 3 seconds, Hold the Home and Power buttons for 10 seconds, then release the Power button and continue holding the Home button until your iPad is in DFU mode.

Step 6- Now if all goes right, then you’ll be taken to the Next screen otherwise you’ll be prompted to try again from Step 4.

Cheers! Now after 5-8 minutes your hands will go on a Jailbroken iPad. Enjoy the moment.
