The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is finally in FCC for approval. It seems like The Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) Tablet will be headed stateside soon. Its 3G Radio supports the 850 MHz and 1900MHz spectrum; so it will be compatible for US Networks.

The model number of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is P7100, whereas the original Tablet carries the P700 designation. Now FCC has given the device approval to ship. The price that it ships for will be of interest.
As we know that the New Samsung Galaxy Tab runs on Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) platform and has features like 1280 x 800 resolution 10.1 inch TFT display, a rear facing 8 megapixel camera with flash, capability of recording videos at 1080p. The new Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 also has a 2 megapixel front facing camera for making video calls and other uses of a Webcam. Unfortunately, there is no USB or HDMI port in device. The device is also packed with a gyroscope and an accelerometer for better gaming experience. In other words, it is a Google Experience Device.

Samsung Executive VP of Mobile Mr. Lee Don-Joo said that launching of the iPad 2 at the same price as the previous model has bound Samsung for thinking about their pricing strategy. And it will be a challenging job for Samsung because their 7-inch 16GB Samsung Galaxy Tab is worth $600
