The Mac App Store: Cracked App Store

Tags: app store apple mac

Sometime ago, there was a story which was saying that the Mac App Store was cracked, which was making it possible for Mac users to gain access to App Store products without paying for them. I don’t want to get in details because it doesn’t matter much.

With many App Store products, you need to have a license code to install it on your Mac. When you’re done with installing the App Store product, the product then must connect via the internet to some server for checking that if your license key was not used by anyone. That’s fair, but what if you are an employee and you use a different Mac in your office. You might want to reinstall that App Store software on your office’s Mac. Then you have to call around 800 numbers and spend 30 minutes in convincing someone that you are not a software pirate.

I am myself very interested in Apple’s Mac App Store because the first thing which I noticed in the terms and conditions of Apple is that you are allowed to use your App Store products at as many computers you use and own.

But it doesn’t mean that if you are a business owner then you can download App Store products for all your employees. Actually, there is a limitation which stops you from using App Store products on a single system. But the fact says that right now nobody can stop you from doing so.

Actually Apple thinks that if they give the choice to people, then people will do the right thing. Apple know that anti-piracy techniques can’t stop pirates, but they can get in the way of honest users which have a keen faith in their company and the App Store.

So I will suggest to my readers for forgetting the fact tat they can get an App without paying for it. It doesn’t matter that Mac App Store is cracked or not. Only use the methods that are true and ethical.
