Are you worried about that Dell’s Streak 10 may pull a streak 5 ?? Then you have to worry no more. Dell just told his investors that the 10.1-inch Android Tablet will come in the end of this year and the  Honeycomb will be safely nestled inside it.

It also seems like Dell is working on consolidating the number of software platforms it supports. I am saying this because an executive stated that company’s other 10.1-inch tablet – a windows device – could have the same shell. When it was asked about company’s strategy about tablet market, this was the Dell’s answer:

“For tablets, it’s Android Honeycomb and Windows, and we have customers with a preference for either one. We can create platforms that share a great degree of hardware commonality that can run both — or either — operating system, and we don’t see any other options that are worthy of consideration”

Hope that Dell will not present a MeeGo Tablet in future..
